Kai studied chemistry at the Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg and has a strong background in electrochemical energy applications and catalysis that he can provide to our group.

Kai also received the Abiturientenpreis and the August-Wilhelm-von-Hofmann-Stipendium of the Gesellschaft Deutscher Chemiker (GDCh)External link and the Deutschlandstipendium of the MLU Halle-Wittenberg. He will work on materials, electrode and device design for capture and electrochemical conversion of CO2. A very interesting research topic with high relevance for the energy transition! We are looking forward to work with you, Kai!
