Artistic impression of green hydrogen production from water
We develop new ways to produce green hydrogen directly from sunlight and water. To this end, we investigate fundamental mechanisms for water splitting, develop new photocatalysts and model processes for the production of green hydrogen.
Our group is funded as part of the BMBF funding action "SINATRA"External link. We are part of Center for Energy and Environmental Chemistry Jena (CEEC Jena) de, Jena Center for Soft Matter (JCSM) as well as the Abbe Center of Photonics.
