The Arndt laboratory develops and applies synthetic chemistry of organic molecules in the context of biofunctional reason. Organic synthesis is exclusively positioned to access unique molecules for addressing the macromolecular targets of the cell. For research innovation as well as for optimal training of students and postdocs, synthesis-driven research campaigns are interfaced with functional studies in biochemistry and molecular biology (in-house and in collaboration).
