At the end of December the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) hosted the kickoff workshop for the SINATRA Research Initiative in Berlin. The event brought together members from the initiative's seven research groups, the coordination and support project "MyWay," and additional partners.

The program began with brief introductions by members from each group, followed by a poster session where PhD researchers showcased their work. This session fostered vibrant discussions, with several members of our group presenting their research and engaging in dynamic dialogues with peers and other participants.

Keynote presentations were delivered by Prof. Jennifer Strunk, Dr. Marek Checinski, and Dr. Michaela Löffler, who provided valuable insights on a range of scientific and strategic topics. The workshops conducted during the event further encouraged participant exchange, promoting cross-project synergies and establishing a strong foundation for future collaborative efforts. These sessions emphasized the importance of interdisciplinary dialogue in addressing complex challenges related to artificial photosynthesis and green hydrogen production.

The kickoff workshop captured the energy and innovation driving the SINATRA Research Initiative, paving the way for impactful research and collaboration in the years to come.
