In July 2024, the Lecture Tour of SFB/TRR 234 "CataLight" took place with a delegation of 14 doctoral students and 6 PIs, including Jacob Schneidewind. The goal of the Lecture Tour was to facilitate scientific exchange with renowned research institutions. The delegation visited the CHASE Solar Hub at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, Michigan State University in Lansing, and the Center for Photochemical Sciences at Bowling Green State University in Ohio. At each location, a symposium was held, focusing on exchanging ideas with local researchers to identify new collaboration opportunities.

In August 2024, Jacob Schneidewind and Verena Streibel (SINATRA Independent Research Group Leader) continued this international presence. Both participated in the Gerischer Electrochemistry Today Symposium at Colorado State University, where they presented their work and exchanged ideas with leading researchers in the fields of photoelectrochemistry and photocatalysis.
