Publication Price 2021 goes to Milena

Chemist Dr. Milena Perovic will be awarded the 2021 Publication Prize for Young Scientists by Leibniz-Kolleg Potsdam today. Ms. Perovic receives the €5,000 prize for her conceptual work on understanding the structure-related properties of carbon materials. The basic as well as applied topic is at the interface between the synthesis of porous nanomaterials, catalysis and adsorption. To date, her summa cum laude dissertation has resulted in five publications as lead author in leading chemistry journals.
