Information about the speakers

Rosalba A. Rincón studied chemical engineering at Universidad Simón Bolívar in Venezuela. She received her Ph.D. in Engineering from the University of New Mexico (USA) in 2010. She then moved to Germany in 2012, where she held postdoctoral positions working in the field of electrocatalysis both in academia and industry. She joined Wiley-VCH in 2016 and worked for ChemSusChem, Batteries & Supercaps, and ChemElectroChem between 2016 and 2021. She served as Deputy Editor for Chemistry—A European Journal from 2021 to 2023 and is currently Editor-in-Chief for Batteries & Supercaps and ChemElectroChem.

Sandra González Gallardo completed her PhD in inorganic chemistry at the National University of Mexico (UNAM). After eight years of postdoctoral research and teaching experience in Germany, she joined the editorial team of ChemCatChem in 2016. Since 2021 she served as Deputy Editor of this journal and the European Journal of Inorganic Chemistry. In December 2023, Sandra was appointed as Editor in Chief of ChemCatChem, and as of January 2025 will be leading Advanced Synthesis & Catalysis too
